I'm an artist and illustrator living and working out of the Pacific Northwest. I largely work in watercolor, pencil, pen and ink. With my work, I attempt to slow down the viewer. Insisting that the viewer stop, take a moment out of the fast paced world we live and focus on the art, taking in the story or dialogue presented there. While my art often represents an idea or story, its not necessary for the viewer to see that same story, in fact I encourage the viewer to engage the work with his or her own background and ideas and gain their own interpretation from the piece.
